I am not sure which one I am going to go with.

Engine -
331 ci Forged internals
10.8 to 1 compression (6 - 9 psi of boost is OK with good fuel, according to my engine bulder)
TFS Fully Ported Heads
Comp Roller cam (don't have the specs off hand)
Roughly 475 HP at the flywheel

5 speed TKO and a 9 inch with 3.89s and trac loc

Supercharger
Pros - Always power on tap, immediate power off the throttle
Cons - It costs $3000 freakin dollars (not sure if I can use my stock 65 hood)

Nitrous
Pros - $500 bucks, adjustable power, stealth
Cons - Lots of hassle (colder plugs, timing, richer fuel)

With a carb, I can't "turn on" the nitrous from inside the vehicle. I have to make my fuel ratio richer and retard the timing. With a supercharger I have to do the same when I install it, but after that, it is just like it is part of the engine.

What do you think is the best idea?

Supercharge that baby!! Im not a fan of the nitrous. I hate to say it but I feel its kind of a ricer thing. It is just way too much hassle and not very reliable. I would go with the supercharger for power all the time.

I don't think there is anything wrong with nitrous...but as you said...it's kind of a hassle. For our basic carbed cars it's just too much of a PITA for a street application in my opinion. S/C
