I know someone who is selling a S/c and wishes to take his car back to stock in the process. Of course I have a relatively stock car and would be able to provide whatever parts necessary to accomodate this swap.

What I know...

It has larger injectors, a larger throttlebody (not sure on the makes), a diablo chip, a vortech v2 supercharger (polished) an aftercooler, and I assume an upgraded fuel pump. I have not been to look at this car yet, and haven't seen it yet.

Here is my question...

I know I'd want all of the above with maybe an exception for the diablo as I can take it to be tuned...?

What parts should come with a complete kit which may not have been listed?

I may be able to get a great deal on it but I'd like to know exactly what I'm asking for and how much it should cost as well. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

holy crap thats alot of extra parts

compared to

I guess it would be easier to just try and get the supercharger off of him without the aftercooler. At least until both cars are running properly again.

Price is too hard to judge I generally figure 50-70 cents on the dollar of new parts. If it was me I would see about getting it if it's a great deal and send the blower back for a rebuild. That way you know you have good bearings, seals , impellers, and such you know basically a new blower. I've heard most blower co.s charge 3-400 for a rebuild.

That sounds like a good deal for peace of mind.

Without saying too much, the owner is in a bit of a situation and the car will be gone soon. His relatives are selling the parts. It could get very cheap for me but I'm not sure just yet. I really don't have much money and it would have to be cheap for me to pick it up. My girlfriend will probably leave me to boot. lol

girlfriends cost more than the parts for your car.

get a list of what it is , what year it is and what you are putting it on. call MPH and they may help you. I did this a couple of years ago and they were very helpful as to what I needed. I did not install the SC, but was able to make an informed decesion.

the only issues should be with different model years, if its a 99 or 00 car the pullies are different, belt, bracket, etc.. if he removed everything with the kit it should be an easy swap. id go for it..how many miles on the kit? might not need a rebuild yet. mine did its gonna be 350$ because a seal is leaking

Ah... I assumed that all 99-04 were the same pullies. I'll have to find out what year it is then. Which years go together?
