Supercharger Question!?!? Please Help

I just recieved my car back from the shop. I just got a ATI Procharger put on it. The 8 PSI with the intercooler. I have a couple of questions. First Question is do you have to get a different fuel pump with 42LB/Hour injectors? Also my car seems like it is not getting enough fuel and it will cut out in 4th gear when it hits about 5,000RPM..Do you think that would be the fuel pump or the chip? Plus the chip is a diablo sport predator chip. I have heard many bad things about these chips. A little help would be appreciated because I can not figure out the problem. Also I am not getting the full 8PSI of boost, I am only hitting 5PSI.

do you have a fuel presure gauge? if not you should. there are a few ways to deal with fuel issues. different pump. KB makes a boost a pump. I would just search that out a bit.

I would track down that boost issues as well. If you are running an 8psi pulley and only seing 5 something is not right. the shop should not have even let it out the door like that IMO.

who did the chip come from and have you actaully logged the air fuel on the dyno?

Sounds like that shop boned you my friend. Take it back and tell them to fix it for free.

I have heard stories about the stock mass air meters pegging out at 5000 with prochargers, but I dont know if thats the exact problem. Stock fuel pumps should be adequate for the base kit, but most kits go lean. If the Maf is the problem, get either the Pro-M 80mm MAF blow through thats already calibrated for Prochargers with 42lb injectors(got mine off ebay), a lightning 90mm MAF that youll need to calibrate, or the Diablo MAF.ia if youre tuned with a Diablo. Id take it back to the shop first.

typically the shop should be able to detune the car to at least get it running right for you. It might not make the power you want yet, but at least you will be able to drive it. I wouldnt push the car at all in the shape it sounds like its in.
on another note, what bad things have you heard about diablo? Ive had a diablo sport chip in my car almost from the beginning, and have absolutly loved it. of course my tuner is 30 mins down the road from me lol. i have heard people say what your saying (ive heard bad things), but i never hear what the bad things are... just curious.

Ok..So I figured out the boost problem, I have an 8 PSI capable supercharger, but I only ordered the 2 core intercooler, and the 2 core only allows a max of 6 PSI. My screw up there, but the jerking at higher RPM's I did also figure out. It was the fuel pump, so I ordered an SVT Focus Fuel Pump. Another Question why are they such a good fuel pump??

Are you on stock gears? how fast were you going in forth gear at 5000 rpm, just curious.

Nope, I am running 3:73 gears. I am not sure what speed I was going, but I think it was around 90 MPH, that is a ball park number.

i go 90 at like 3000rpm in 4th but you have cooler gears than i do
