Well, I'm thinking about getting a sc if I get a loan.. Would it be okay to put it on a 130,000mile engine or is that a bad idea? also, where can I get a decent SC [new or used] for a good price.. I've looked in the classifieds here and on ebay.. anyone?

Just keep the boost low (8lbs max) and you should be okay. I'd still run a compression test, and a leakdown test to make sure your rings and valve guides are okay. Because once you put on a blower, any small problem you might have is gonna be compounded tenfold.

If you're looking for used blowers, just look on eBay, and all the classified sections of the mustang forums. Stangnet, Corral, Hardcore50 etc. etc.

If you're looking for new blowers, superchargersonline.com has the cheapest prices I've ever seen.

in all honesty please don't get a loan for performance parts. what's gonna happen if your motor isn't healthy and it blows and needs rebuilt? are you gonna take out another loan to rebuild it? just save up and pay for it in cash. debt is not a fun thing to think about when you go to sleep at night

dont take out a loan for performance parts not a good idea. If its something you cant afford on your own or save up in time then its not a good idea. When I got my supercharger I just took all the OT that I worked over one winter and put it in to the kit along w/ my Income tax return ( which I see as free money) and I was able to purchase one the following spring.

I am going to get mine from summit, they said they would price match superchargers online's quote they gave me. Just have to wait for about 1 or 2 more checks.
