I never thought I would say this but I'm thinking of getting a supercharger instead of getting VT stage one cams. I'm looking at a 9 PSI Big Bore 2.1L Kenne Bell. About how much would it cost including the installation?

Probably around 5500-6000

Is there a cheaper way to go like Vortech? Maybe I will stick with getting cams then. Cams shouldn't coast that much for an install.

Figure close to $7k by the time you have it installed and the dyno tune.

you can do a vortech for 1/2 the price and install it yourself over a weekend

Vortech Mongoose kit costed me ~$4,000 said and done and yielded 130hp

BTW Ambo, what were your final numbers (HP and TQ) and are you getting 10psi with a smaller pulley or with the Mongoose powerpipe?

4,000 doesn't seem that bad. Did that include the tune?
