im looking for a supercharger for my mustang i have a 1990 with a 351 what is there that is a decent supercharger and how much hp would i gain

Your question is unanswerable. There are a lot of superchargers out there and some are better than others for a spacific setup, but there is no right answer. Same goes for HP gains.

translation: i have this thing, i'd like to get another thing for it... what exact kind of thing should i get for my thing, and how many things will i gain from adding the thing you suggested?


give us some info on your motor and vehicle so we can better help you out

i have a 1990 mustang lx with a 357 it had the eldebrock rpm heads trick flow heat and track upper and lower intake 11 :1 compression 70 mm throttle boddy

one mounts outside of the car the other mounts in the cab

11:1 compression for a supercharger? Are you planning on running 1.3984 psi? 70mm throttle body????

This is the fastest derailing I've seen in a while...

Supercharger is basically a belt driven turbo

turbo is a turbine driven by exhaust gasses with a compressor wheel which creates boost



Google is your friend

get a novi 2000 and call it a day

i thought a super charger was something dodge made ?

with 11:1 compression i wouldn't plan on boosting, that is way too much compression unless you want to run race gas.

I have a 357 windsor with 10.5:1 compression and boost is really not an option for me nor you unless (like mentioned above) you run race gas all the time. Boost meaning no turbos or superchargers. You might want to consider adding nitrous to you motor if you're looking for a lot more power
