I was just looking at supercharger kits and noticed the prices went up......Not sure if anyone else noticed but whats up with that? I use to be able to find sites that sold the standard vortech kits for under $2k, same with novi 1000 kits. Now they are being sold for $2,300+. I thought one of the main advertisement points of those basic kits was that they were under $2k......It's not a crazy increase but still I don't know, just thought I'd share and see if anyone else has noticed that. I guess it's one of those things that I thought prices would stay the same and if anything go down with time. I forget what site it was but a month ago they had the vortech 5-6 psi kit for $1800, now its over 2k. Anyone know why they would even do this? I'm thinking prices should go back down but who knows........

I noticed the price increase as well. Not sure of the reason. If you're in the market for a Novi 1000, check out Jegs. My buddy just ordered one for $1821.99. Summit wanted like $2300 for the same kit. I'm sure the Jegs price will be going up sooner or later though.

Yea the SC trim (vortech) and novi 1000 (paxton) just increased in price for some reason. I don't see why not go for the S trim though, so much more, for a little more cash.

I'm pretty sure I paid about $2500 for my s-trim kit 2 years ago. Now Summit has it for almost $3000.

Seen that stuff on ebay. Still need fuel components. Check out turbomustangs.com, you get what you pay for with turbo kits.

It's not stupid to want a blower, but it depends on your view of it. Totally differnent types of power, for totally different applications.

Cause you have run actually him? BS the most driving you do is moving cars from the back yard to the front of the house.

Ok, so that was an exaggeration. They certainly work, and produce good numbers just like most other blowers. They just don't have the reliability of most other companies.
