I've got a 2001 GT that has mostly only seen highway miles. Car is obviously out of warranty and will be paid off shortly...

Would you guys recommend NOT blowing a car with 50,000+ miles on it, or don't see a problem with it? Car has been taken care of and still pulls as hard as day one. Anyone else blow a high milieage car?

Only power mods are Steeda Pullies and Bassani X-pipe

50k isn't bad at all, I see people on here all the time throwin blowers on 90k+ motors without problems. 50k really isn't that much at all actually, your fine, get that blower! :flag:

Depending on your setup, it wouldn't be a bad idea to perhaps throw in some new forged pistons and rods. :nice:

I'm approaching 50k myself, but refuse to put a blower on until everything underneath is ready to go. I do like the idea of throwing in a 5.1L stroker kit to start. It's not exacty the cheapest route though! :D
