I'm thinking about supercharging my 1998 GT stang this summer but don't know if it is safe enough for the engine. I am afraid the stock block won't be able to handle the boost. I currently have have P&P PI heads and cams plus a bunch of other mods. I'm worried that the compression will be too much for the block with the supercharger. I was planning on only running around 6 PSI or so to take me to 400rwhp. Currently I have around 330 rwhp. Think the block will be able to handle the little amount of boost?

It's all in the tune. The compression is a tad high so you'll just have to be that much more conservative with the fuel and spark. I don't know if you'll see 400rwHP at 6psi given that you'll need to be a little fatter and a little more retarded on the spark for safety though.
