yep that is pretty loud. I'm going to make some phone calls on the pro charger and find out some info. Lucky for my one of my best friends is a welder fabricator and is into cars. He is going to be building a 440 twin turbo cuda. so i think the install with his help should go smooth.

Personally, i would toss a big roots blower on it. Maybe even a butterfly scoop. That would look bad-ass and would prolly be easier to install than all the vortech and other centri stuff.

A local guy here is running a 302 with TW heads an S-trim, EV carb hat and your basic bolt-ons is in the high tens. His brother running a 377 with a procharger D-1, EV carb hat, TFS high ports went 10.4s on his first time out at the track. Here is his website http://home.elp.rr.com/hipo/index_1.html

so i was looking at paxton's kits again. They make the novi 1200 and 1500 for the 351w. Also they make the novi 2000 for the carb'd 85 mustang and they say with only slight modifications it will fit the 351w. If i went the paxton route would it be better to go with the 1500 or the 2000.

If the 1500 fits on the 351 no problem i would go with that, the 1500 flows 1200cfm which is identical to the t-trim, and supports a motor up to 825hp. i dont know how far you are taking your motor, but that should be plenty of blower for you. Also, you can use a cog drive with it which is a great plus for the 1500. I will be running a cog drive on mine once i get it finished up.

I can't imagine what a 825 hp engine would feel like. I guess that would be more then double what i run now and i doubt i need that crazy of power. One thing i know for sure is my tranny would never hold up to that.

I hate that i want more all the time. For some reason a daily driven 11 sec car isn't good enough. maybe a daily driven 10 sec car will be.
