Superchips Customer Service ( please read)

A short story here, but please read. How many people here in this forum have had problems with a product that you bought for your Mustang and spent your hard earned money on.

I bought the Superchips max micro tuner and started having problems with my car shifting to late on wide open throttle. So I called them and asked for some advice on settings. I spoke with someone who didn't seem to have much interest in helping me but still gave me some tips. I tried them and had no luck. Phone call #2 I spoke with a guy named Ryan at Superchips whom seemed very helpful and knowledgable and asked me some really good questions to try to diag it over the phone. End result is that he thought it had a corrupted file in the transmission side of the tuner.

I sent the tuner back, they have had it for a week now. They have kept in contact through out the week and today I get a phone call from Superchips, which is out of Sanford, Florida about 1 hour away from me. They want to resolve the problem with the tuner and my car by picking up my car from me and give me a rental car while mine is at there shop being tested and tuned by them.

They are picking the car up on Monday afternoon and returning it Tuesday afternoon. Customer service has been great so far but I will keep you all up to date on the results.

That's pretty good that they would go out of their way to help a customer. It is such the opposite for alot of the big companies now.

cool, but someone is going to drive your car to and from your house? that's a lot of room to mess around.

They do have time to mess with it but I mentioned that I'm posting all the results of this on :SNSign: If you look at it from a company standpoint how much sales do they stand to lose or gain pending on the outcome.

How many posts are about which tuner to get? It only takes one bad post to put a bad taste in many peoples mouth when looking for a product to buy. There is allot of things to say for a company that stands behind there product like this.

Bad publicity can cause a company allot of money but good publicity can make them allot of money.

It seems to be human nature for people to complain quickly and reluctantly give praise when due.

We will find out which song I will have to sing.

Well they came and picked the car up today and brought me a new Dodge ram truck, so far so good. I let you know the details when it comes back.

I got my car back from Superchips today and I have to say I couldn't be any more satisfied with what they did for me. My car was cleaned and brought back to me with a full tank of gas, thats amazing. They fixed the shifting problem at no cost to me and I talked to there tech guy today and he informed me everything programing wise was done for my car. This was at no cost to me.

Take a look at this company if your in the market for a tuner. Not many companies stand behind there product like this. Please keep in mind I did not have to yell and scream at them for them to do this for me, this was done on there own free will.
