i still have the old worn out suspension and steering stuff in my car. as time goes, it seems like somethign gets looser and looser. the car sways and is VERY light in the front end it seems. whats some cheap ways to make it better?
Drive the S10 while saving up for a suspension rebuild?
Gosh, a lot of performance mods to an engine for a car that should not be driven due to poor suspension and steering. I do not know of a cheap way to make wornout parts work like new. If you can solve that problem, perhaps you should take a shot at this one. http://www.jimloy.com/fiction/leadgold.htm
I would say the sway is from worn out springs and shocks. You can get a complete suspension kit from all the companies for about 500 I think. You could also do the shelby drop. Just make sure you realign everything afterwards.
If you are going to go through all the work required to take all of that crap apart, why would you put any old stuff back on? You will just have to replace it later, if you can even get the old worn junk back together.
