I started building my suspension on my 93 gt after rearend rebuild and 373 gears. i had plans of running 275-50-15 on 15x10 draglites after clearancing the inner fenders and 15x3.5 on front. i figured out today from using a buddy's wheel that the skinnies wont work now with the PBR calipers even though i stayed with the gt rotors.
SO! now i am stuck going with 17x9 (my second choice with nitto 555s) i want to go with cobra rims or bullits.
Problem is that I already put Moroso Trick Drag Springs in the rear with all new adj. UCAs and MM drag LCAs. i then put Strange front coilover kit for the fox with C/C plates and MM LCA in front. Now that I found out i cant run skinnies and going with 17x9 will the coilover in the front work or would i get a better setup to go back with factory control arms with spring perches?
Also, biggest deal of all is the Moroso springs make rear set to high and for draglites that is what i wanted but with 17x9 cobras i want to lower more and get rid of the gap between fender and tire and i cant!!! should I go with rear coilovers, if so what kind and where? Or should i just change springs and which ones to lower and get rid of tire gap from fender and still hook good?
Anyone wanna buy Moroso rear springs?
