Hey everyone, I am doing research and planning on upgrading my suspension. I have FRPP C springs on and thats it so far. I am eventually planning on supercharging my mustang with a goal of about 400rwhp. My question is what do I need to make my mustang handle, drive, and be strong enough for my plans. I know that I want Bilstein struts and shocks and Maximum motorsports C/C plates. I was also thinking about MM lower control arms and maybe the bilstein axle wrap shocks( I heard these dont do much but I might as well upgrade them so they are all the same right?), and mm/subframe connnectors. Please tell me if you think of what eles I need or if I shouldnt get any of the stuff listed. Any advice would be apprecitated! THANKS

You don't need the axle wrap shocks (quad shocks). Maximum Motorsports has some nice "box" kits available on there site that will give you a complete matched setup for a decent price.

When you say "handle," do you mean in a straight line or in the turns?

I want it to handle on the road more than for the track. I will take it to the track rarely. The axle wrap shock ( Whats the point of them if they dont do anything, just something else to spend money on?)

That's right, just like a strut brace

And since you're supercharging you should take weight (worst weight possible top-front heavier) off the front end since your going to add more with a blower, a trunk mount battery will help some, and since you want it to handle better on the road you should look into better tires like BF "KDW", Nitto, or some Mich pilot sports
