I need new shocks/struts. Mine are 15 years old. So i was searching on ebay and i came across an auction for Spring Tech shocks/struts. They were up for auction by a company called Suspension Max for 150$. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with these shocks/struts or this company before. I checked out their web site but couldn't tell much from it. Thanks for your time!

Oh yeah, here ya go.

I haven't had any experience with them but I'm a big believer in you get what you pay for. My opinion is that you should go with a brand that has proved itself. Tokico seems to be one of the most popular due to the price/performance ratio.

Thanks for the input!!! yeah i learned that the hard way....i kept looking and saw some KYB GR-2 Shocks and Struts for 180$, i think i'll pay the extra 30$ for a brand i know is good. Is KYB good? I heard of them before!

I just went to the KYB web site and it says the GR-2's are twin-tube. Not mono-tube like the gas-a-just shocks and struts. Whats the difference? is any better or worse? anyone?

I just purchased these. Got them in today. I have the KYB's with Steeda springs on my "86 & they handle great. When I decided to do the suspension on my "90 I found these on e-bay & couldn't pass up the deal. Should have them installed by Wed. PM me if you haven't made a purchase by then & I'd be happy to let you know how the two compare to each other.
