Hello, I am new to the forums. I bought a 97 gt from a friend of mine, and he had bought the eibach kit that dropped the car approximently 2''. The car handles great, but is extremely bumpy. I was wondering if there was a different kit or I should just buy stock coils (I have camber plates and tokio shocks/structs so I don't know if they will work with the stock springs). I love my car, but the roads up here can be extremely rough and would like a smoother ride. Thank you!

The Eibach kit, depending on which ones can be a little hard, you might want to try some HR springs that are progressively wound and they seem to work well on the street. I would stay with the constant wound springs for consistency in a track car though. FWIW I found that by using the Steeda X2 ball joints in the car made a world of difference in how the car handled. This raises the roll center to go with the lowered springs. You may want to look into the bump steer tie rod ends as well. If you do those mods, maybe add a little bigger front roll bar I think you will be happy with it. Do yourself a favor on the rear of the car leave all the urethane- heim joints-panhard bars to the drag race crowd, just use the lowering springs and possibly change bars. There's no real middle ground in those rear links, if you start messing with them, just go the full ride with a MM truck arm or the Steeda 5 link.
BTW are those Tokico struts adjustable? that may take some of the harshness out of the ride, and all of that should work with the stock springs.
