Suspension Question With Pics!

My Buddy Has a Mustang GT. AN old guy with a pickup truck and a trailer pulled out in front of him causing him to lock up his brakes and sliding into the curb. He wrecked two of the rims, but he has them fixed now, so everything looks good now except for the ungodly way the tire sits. The front right tire is now slanted. He tried to get it aligned all different ways to get it straight and it is better, but still not right. Do you think he could have bent a tire rod or A-Arm because for me it is hard to tell. He was only going 30 so there is no way the frame could be bent. SO what do you guys think is wrong?

I am finding it hard to tell whether the tie rod is bent or not; then again, I have not gone to look at my own car ('98 GT) so I can't compare. If you are suspecting a bent tie rod, you could purchase new tie rods, both inner and outer, both driver and passenger side, and install them. They should run you about $18 each, and you can rent a "pitch fork" tool from AutoZone to help with the installation...observe the car afterward. I'm not sure on the A-Arm.

Its pretty impossible to tell with pics, a good alignment shop should be able to tell you... other than that you could try replace the tid rods. What is messed up on the tire? the caster or camber, toe in or toe out?
The toe in and toe out are controlled by the tie rods
caster and camber are controlled by the strut town mounting. they might need to be adjusted, all something a pro alighment shop should be able to do or atleast tell you whats wrong, anytime u have an impact like that you are going to need an alighment no matter what. I know sears offers a 6 month warranty so you could have it done and see if its better and if not bring it back to them. its about 60 bucks.
