What are the best upgrades for Suspension for under $800? I was thinking lowering springs, Steeda Stop the Hop Pak, Steeda Ultimate Swaybar Pak. And with 3.73 Gears and about 300-310 RWHP/TQ what would you guys estimate for 1/4 time? probably mid 12's?

BMR EXTREME rear sway bar. Pick one up at Summit Racing for $450 and you will never have body roll again. Pick up a set of their upper and lower control arms as well as a panhard bar for the remaining $350. You would have the complete and unwavering rear suspension set up. I bought Summit brand lowering springs for $150. They work perfect and I installed them myself.

Well if your car's suspension is stock, I would do the Springs, and would do shocks and struts.

Your stock shocks/struts would be fine for a while, but will need to be replaced in the near future. The lowering would really be harsh on them.

I did my springs and shocks/struts first, also put in some gt500 strut mounts. Springs(eibach) set be back about $250, my D-specs were $550 and the GT500 strut mounts were $60.

I don't know if you have ever seen some cheaply lowered cars, like civics, or acuras. When they go over bumps/waves in the roades the car just bounces like it is strictly on springs, that could be a very real possibility that could happen if you only did lowering springs, especially if your car is a few years old.

That would be my first "$800," but I guess if you did that, you may/ or may not need a panhard. Which would set you over your budget, but you could go with a cheaper shock/strut setup than the D-specs.

This is right on the money. I had a 2000 GT and I just did the springs. The car became very bouncy and was very rough. When I lower my 2009 stang it will be with a complete package with shocks and struts. I would not cut coners with the suspension. IMO
