Well my T56 is not scheduled to be here untill 6/2/06. ( i ordered it 4/6/06) so I figure I am going to go ahead and change my entire suspension , shocks, struts , subframes, braces , upper and lower control arms. My intentions with this car are some strip , some street and some roadcourse action . Anybody have any combinations they like . My budget is about a grand .

if you want suspension call maximum motorsports, to make a mustang right on the course you need at least good shock struts spring and a tourge arm set up, i was looking to do that a wile back, then i did some research into a coilover conversion, which was 1600 bucks as opposed to about 800 for just the shocks and struts and springs, but i did not want to buy things twice so i saved up, and got the coils, i will have to wait on the toruqe arm. but with the bilstien and hypercoil coil over package and the mm sub frames, it is a whole new car

Milhouse knows of a great link to a suspension website that will help explain the weakpoints in the fox setup.

My personal plans are as follows:

Up front
H&R springs (convertible rates)
SN95 Spindles
Steeda X2 ball joints
Bump steer kit
C/C plates
Bilstien struts (for the newer cars = more travel than stock shocks)
Strut tower brace

Out Back
H&R Springs (Convertible rate)
MM lower control arms
FRPP HD upper arms
MM panhard bar
Bilstien shocks (again from the newer cars)
SN95 length axles and brakes

All of this will run on 03 Cobra wheels 17x8. I have some of the parts but I am still collecting a majority of things needed to complete this.

Edit: I did some searching and found this thread that will help you out a great deal: Stangnet thread from the past

And the suspension site: Suspension Basics for the Mustang

Edited: thinking one thing and typed another...

Why are you getting shocks and struts from an SN95 Mustang and not the Fox spec shocks/struts? The newer struts are longer, and therefore would only bottom out sooner.. i'm not aware of any other difference.s Not sure what you mean by "less travel." I'm running fox spec Bilsteins on my lowered 89 and they ride mint.

I am sorry, I was thinking less travel from the stock shocks when I typed it... That is what I get for multitasking at work.
