suspension specs for 2002 v6

Hello all,
My stang has 227,000 on it and the front tires are wearing on the inside. Tires appear to be leaning towards the inside. Alignment shop said they could not align it to specs. I replaced the lower control arm bushings without change. Original bushings were still in decent shape. Now I am troubleshooting my problem. I have put 180000 miles on it so i know the car pretty well. The tires didn't wear like this and it has not been wrecked. I have been reading the forums and from what I have gleamed, its like the ride height has changed. What I need is specs on original ride height, distance between the shock towers or the strut bolts. Something that I can make an informed decision about what to do next. The drivers side is worse than the passenger side but that stands to reason. I have been told to get caster/camber plates but I am thinking maybe the springs have sagged enough to throw the camber off. Any thoughts?

the springs have probably sagged some, which is normal at that mileage. if you want to retain the factory ride height, either buy factory or aftermarket OEM replacement springs, i think Moog sells them. caster camber plates, a high quality kind like from Maximum Motorsports will allow an alignment tech to set your alignment perfect.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a good reference for suspension specs such as ride height, front end specs,etc?

an alignment shop that has a hunter spec sheet should have the ride height specs. they wont list distances from different parts per se as the cars had fairly huge assembly tolerances.
