hey...i was thinking about lowing my car....what do you think would be a nice drop?...and what would i have to buy? I dont really want to spend alot since i just went with cobra R's (crome) and new tires ....thanks
I plan on lowering mine this spring. After a lot of reading and looking at pictures, I am going to go with H&R super sport springs and Tokico Adj. Shocks/Struts. Depending on how much you want to drop your car there are several options. Lowering it will affect ride quality somewhat, especially if you keep the stock shocks/struts (so I hear from other people).
There are a lot of posts on here about suspensions setups tho. Ford Motorsport B and C springs are kinda popular, so are Steeda springs. I believe Intrax springs have some of the lowest springs for a mustang. Do a search for lowering springs in the forums and read up on it, or check the stangnet review section, those list prices and the website of the manufacturer.
