Suspension

I have a 2000 Mustang GT, when I bought the car it has Eibach springs. I'm not sure what type of Eibach, but they are on the rear and are blue. The front looks stock still. The rear tires are being cut by the fender, my question is do i need to replace the springs or the shocks. The rear rims are FR500 18x10. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Found out from Eibach that the springs that are on my car now are for a Cobra, I have a GT and that they are road race springs. Does anybody else have problems with these type of springs, or drag launch springs for everyday driving?

If you have cobra springs on a gt your problem is right there. Cobras have independent rear suspension and the gt is straight axle. There is a very slight chance the previous owner put an irs on your car but I HIGHLY doubt that. To answer your other question is you won't find any gt's running those springs because of your problems mentioned. How wide are the tires on the 18x10's? I would also steer clear of drag springs on a daily driver.

I got two springs from a friend of mine, he couldn't remember whether it was the front or rear springs. Can anyone tell from the pic which one it is. I know the pic is dark and bad quality. The two springs are CJPony parts. I'm jus going to put them one for now until i can get a full set.
