hmm i would rather have a really good suspension for road race b/c i really never drag raced my car yet but ive been in alot of road racies and those corners just kill me lol and the budget maybe arond 1000 give or take a little bit....

If you want to go "road racing" as in at the "race track" and not the "drag strip"... You'll need a lot more than a $1000 bucks to have much fun at all, but that kinda depends on the level of racing you want to do. Do you want to get into SCCA stuff or just autocross events at your local parking lot?

Maximum Motorsports or Griggs racing. if you want to road race buy their complete kits with the biggest brakes you can afford.

yaa lol the 6 post was an accident and i dont race on a track, i race on the streets and i live in ny and there are alot of curves on the roads, that my mustang can barely handle and it sucks lol and i got a KVR cobra conversion kit front and back and the front rotors are 13''....
