Awesome! I didn’t realize that there was a Facebook group for them, I’ll give it a shot. Worst case is on those spindles I shave them slightly at the ball joint ig

You might be able to call MPS Auto Salvage in GA and ask them to do a test fit for you. They are a Mustang-specific salvage yard.

I have not given them a call but someone pointed out that I’d have a smaller turning radius with the 87-93 spindles, plus lose the potential for a brake upgrade. I’ve got a lead on a set of 94-95 spindles and cobra calipers for $250, but before I bite I want to know if I’d need a new master cylinder. The stock SVO one is a 1 1/8” unit

Leaving the stock 54mm rear calipers?

Yes, you'll likely want an smaller bore MC to maintain proper pedal feel. The cobra calipers have smaller pistons. I could calculate it out roughly if you tell me the setup you'd like to run

Yeah, I was thinking the cobra calipers (let’s assume they’re the 38mm piston ones for now) or possibly 03-11 crown vic calipers if I could make the ones I’ve got in the garage fit and stock rears. I don’t mind a firm pedal btw, I’ve already got a set of braided stainless lines ready to go on.

Ended up acquiring a complete setup off a 95. I’ll snag cobra rotors and calipers once we get to the other side of this, and be very careful in the meantime.
