This Lightning has to be modded, and the driver in Ram must not be used to stick...500 horsepower? Where? - hehehe

Yeah im sure the stick which Car abd Driver says isnt the most fluent of shifts doesnt help... For racing I would go SVT, but if I was just out to buy a fun toy to drive around town and didnt care about 9 MPG I would go with the Dodge.

In the mean time, Dodge has taken away the "world's fastest truck" title. The Ram is now the Guiness record holder. Also, there is talk of a Hemi V10 in development, so Ford may still have competition in the next couple of years from PVO and I'd imagine Chevy is going to wise up and want a slice of the pie as well.

a viper engine with a stick running a 13.7 isn't that impressive. Good luck finding traction with that thing. They can put all the HP they want in that thing but the suspension is still crap.

i forgot where i read that a gen 2 lightning will still take the SRT-10 in no time. SRT-10 has more power but like the guy said where!!!

I read a thread on here that a guy in a 97 cobra with a few bolt-ons had beat an SRT-10 by at least 5 car lengths.
