I have the Pro Kit but I am thinking about changing them out for the Sportlines? Is it really worth it? I am running 315's in the rear.

Instead of swapping out the pro kit for sportlines, I would get H&R supersports. They almost lower as much as sportlines, but they are much better quality & they ride & handle better. Sportlines give u a killer drop, but they have a tendency to sag in the rear. If u really want to dump your car the right way, get coilovers & bilsteins, but its an expensive setup.

I have sportlines, and i love them.. my good friend has the H&R's and OK OK i'll give it to them.. sportlines are great, but +1 to the H&R's for sure.. also the coil overs would be nice, but i know everyone isnt made out of money lol
Plus mine is still kinda like my D.D, so It isnt the fastest or the best in the Twistes..... lol

Im definately not made of $$ either, I just have good credit LOL!!! & my car is fast, but it aint the fastest either, but in the twisties, its pretty good for a stang. After I get my subframes, torque arm, & rear coilovers on this weekend its gonna handle like its on rails.

96GTstang46, u got a pretty nice mod list there. Nice ride

I had sportlines on my fox and I loved the look but the ride was very harsh. Would the race springs be more for me?? I plan on getting 18X10 rims on the rear and dont want to worry about rubbing at all.

I think u will like the H&R ss's because they lower the car just enough & still ride decent with good struts/shocks.... U might rub a little on the fender lips with18x10's though. Mine did until I got the panhard bar.

Thanks EPIKGT... you know there is always another upgrade to be bought and installed.. lol I should update my sig. its been a while, but alot of my mods are like little **** that i fixed, or just made better that isnt bought or anything..:OT:

Sorry anyways... My friend has a 98gt with the H&R ss's and he loves them.. I still think my car might handle just a tad bit better cuz i have Full lenth SFC's to his standard's.. and yes i think they do make a big difference in how your car handles.. SFC are just ....but.. i have the sportlines, but the H&R ss's are the way to go.. IMO...

You might want to stick with the pro kit......
No need to get cc plates, shocks, struts, additional labor. I didnt even need
an alinment. No dought that the sportlines or H&R's have a killer look but
I have already bottemed out on a rock that punched a hole in my trans pan
plus I have chewed up my chin spoiler a couple of times with the pro kit.
The roads around here are pretty nasty.

Wow, i kinda forgot about the cc plates.. with the pro kit, you should be just fine, otherwise you would need shocks/ struts cc plates and a good alinement.. or just put the pro kit front springs in, and leave the rear stock so you got a nice old muscle car look with the ass way up in the air.. I had mine like that for about a week, till i just said F it.. ill put the rear springs on haha

I am still torn on being conservative with the pro kit or go with the H+R SS. I don't want to rub when I get my 18/10 rims in the rear. definitely cant afford a panhard bar now or when I get the rims.

I dont know if everyones rubbed, but mine did with the 18x10 FR500s & 295s. The left rear tire would push into the rear edge of the wheelwell when turning right into driveways like gas stations etc. It put a nice size cut on the edge of my tire. These same wheels & tires didnt rub on my old 97 since the rear track is narrower by an inch. The H&R's have a way better stance than the pro kit though....Good luck
