Swapped in a UPR K-member!

WoW is all I got to say...a friend of mine was trading in his mustang and didn't want to give his parts to the dealer! So he asked if I wanted to trade K-members and supporting mods! His car was an 04 convertable with a full tubular front set up, coil over shocks, and steeda adjustable plates! Well need less to say it took 12 hrs and my car now has close to a 100 lbs diet and a solid front drive assembly! One question though....is there a certain position to set the shock angles in for drag racing and road racing! havn't gotten it alligned yet but we switched out power steering racks also to the toe in/out is pretty close! Plus the ride hight was adjusted close to his. I am talking about the center adjustments with the allen head bolts...looks like it repositions the shocks? Any tips? Also, my car has alot of weight reductions and now weighs about 3000 lbs w/o driver! Should I change out springs also since the car is about 600 lbs lighter than his convertalbe.

springs will need to be changed only if it doesnt suit your driving style... they should be harder springs for the convertable so they should be fine. contact the company and let them know what you have done and ask them their opinion... not like it will differ from mine... but you never know. should be fine all in all.
