so i swapped in the turbo engine into my 91 i had a bitch of a time with the motor mounts. i didnt know to use the mustang mounts and it created problems but i figured it out. now i am starting with the wiring and i left a harness on the old engine because i cannot take off the sensor on the crank. i can't even get to it do i need it. since i am using a distributor with the turbo motor i don t think i need it. what should i do just cut the wires to the sensor or attempt to take it off. also my motor has a t3 istead of the ihi. does anyone have problems putting the ac on with the t-3 . also my tensioner pulley on the ps does not line up with anything. it does not fit on correctly

Leave that old crankshaft sensor and wiring on the old engine you don't use it, you do use the distributor! Check stingers wiring swap info for wiring up the TFI that is on the distributor using the factory wiring from your mustang. You will not use the coil packs but will use the one coil out of the TurboCoupe or SVO. My tensioner lined up perfectly you need to swap power steering brackets and I did get the AC to line up with my T3, it involved a bit of bending with controlled brute force. use the alternator bracket from the turbocoupe!

so i took off the ac and did most of the other problems i was looking at. i still have to repin the ecu, and do the wiring for the harnesses but it shouldnt take soo long. there is a flood watch here tonight si i dont know when i will work on it next. i still have to figure out the exhaust since it doesn't bolt up, reconnect some of the lines, most of the harnesses are on though. im repinning the ecu right now and am having a bit of trouble. i have stingers repinning instructions and that's all well and good but im having trouble getting the pins out. should i just tug hope for the best or try and pry it with a screwdriver.

I wouldnt just pull em out, you can break the little retaining pins and it will make it a headache to keep the pins from falling out. There are little fingers that hold them all in. You can see them after you take the red pin lock out. I just used a very tiny screwdriver and released each pin i needed to move, Then i could just click them back in without having to worry about them falling out.

i started trying to pull out the no 5 pin which does not need to be put back in. but the wire began to split so i stopped and will do it again tomorrow. is there any way i can move the wiring to get a better view of the connector its difficult to find the pins since the wires dont move enough to get a good look.
