Swapping quarter window from 86 onto a 87

I have a 87 gt hatch and i was thinking about puting the older styler loverd quarter glass in place of the new aero glass has any one done this i know people put the newer aero glass in the older 4 eyed mustangs but has any one ever done it the other way around ?

It's a pain in the ass either way. So many parts have to be changed to make it look right. It's not just the window.

i was going to swap my 86 to 87 93 style but the more i looked at it the more i want to leave it alone...

well im repainting my 87 and i like the look of the older style glass and the fact that my quarter glass rubber trim seals have seen better days and i really dont feel like paying the price for the new reproduction quarter windows for the aero cars my stang is already torn apart body wise at the moment so dismantling is not a problem and finding the older quarter glass is easy for me as well i was just intrested to see what all is need to swap it in and if any one else has put the 4 eyed glass in the aero car before
