I know all of us love driving our II's every chance we get. And some of us have modified a few things to fit our comforts for what ever reasons.
I know at least 3 of the our II's (My brother's, dad's and one of mine) have had issues with the blower switch in the AC equipped cars. The switch would melt and of course short out. Has anyone ever contemplate upgrading to a later model switch setup? dimensionally it's looks close but I have taken any measurements I just got to thinking about it today when I went home at lunch and thought how much more convenient the turn knobs are than what the sliders are to operate.
Just a thought, I'm sure there's plenty of people who've had both systems completely apart to put together some really creative ideas
