I was going down the road the other day and made a turn and heard a loud thunk on the front passenger side. Then I started noticing it every time I made a turn. I took off the wheel and the top of the sway bar end link was missing and needless to say unattached. I purchased a new end link kit from Energy. Is there anything special I need to know to install these? Do they need any grease? What are the torque specs? Do I install with the wheel on and car on the ground, or with the wheel off? Anything else?

Thanks.

I replaced mine several years ago. Same thing happened to me. I got the same replacement parts and installed them I believe with the car on jack stands under the control arms. As long as you can get the parts lined up, you should be OK. I don't know the torque specs, but I just tightened it until it was "tight enough".

Good luck.

When I did mine I put the car on ramps (with the wheels still on the car) removed the old ones and installed the new. When you put the new ones on, put a small amount of grease to the bushings that make contact with metal. When you tighten them up, crank them just enough to see a slight amount of deflection in the bushings and your set...

Nothing too difficult..just a pain due to the nylon lock nuts that are with the kit.

Good Luck..Jim
