Swaybar End Link install question

When installing the endlinks, do I want to get them started then lower the car back onto the ground and tighten them up with the load of the car on them? Or how do I go about the install of them?

youve got it. put them on and just snug them down and than lower the car and tighten them down. is a pita to do it but its the right way

For most suspension parts you want to finish torquing the fastners with the weight of the car on the part. But I have installed endlinks with and without the weight of the car on the suspension and didn't notice a difference.

I also do it with the weight of the car on the suspension. Otherwise, the eyelets in the bar load at a funny angle.

If one can find a slight incline to park on, you can probably get your arm up there to snug the end link fasteners.

Yep. IMHO, having the LCA at its loaded ride height is what matters. Ramps allow that just fine.

I should have added before that I have tightened them like Steve did. I did find myself lookin under there once the car was on the ground and level to make sure I had not tightened the nuts too much or little.
