i just couldn't draw a bead on my carb'ed blow-thru setup, so i'm bitting the bullet (and wallet) and switching to efi. i'm going with the accel thruster system, which is just a slightly scaled down gen7. i still need to buy the 120#/hr injectors also.
it will be nice to add fuel with just a few key strokes instead of getting a drill out (seriously, i used a drill).

I am really interested to hear what you have to say about the EFI kit you got. Keep us posted please.

there you go, using that 4-letter word (cost). the answer is: TOO DAMN MUCH! i don't know exactly (don't want to know either), but even after selling my old carb, pump, reg, and intake, it's still in the thousands. thanks, man, you just ruined my whole weekend.

Haha, I expected a huge uproar by Slim or someone else in that thread.

Eh, I got it working good so far. As far off as it was, I do like it better than a standard main body, and I do like it's adjust ability.

Are you thinking it will go any faster, or just looking not to hurt it ?

I'm with you man.the more I read, the more interested I become. Gonna go the same route as you with the TB. I'll just drill and weld for injector bungs. MSII should be a challenge. I'll keep playing with mine until it goes on.

Any news with yours ?

Are you going to be able to tune it yourself? I met someone in Ohio last trip up there that said they know you. He runs a dyno shop. I talked to the father, I forgot his name, and the son, Brian?

Once you get used to laptop tuning you're going to love it! Never got the stalling under max braking and right turns out of my trick 750DP. With EFI it's just a non issue.
Looking forward to hearing about the Accel software. Rumor has it it's good but I've never heard it first hand.

My setup (NOS just for fun):

for me, it was alot cheaper to sell my intake and buy a new efi manifold.
i'm just in a holding pattern until spring (remember, i live in the great white north. lol.)

Eh, he was going to ask a bit too much. Don't need them quite that big yet. thanx for telling me about that smokin' deal though Paul. I'll use the 40 bucks back to buy the TB.
