ok so tn, we were all leaving out local hang out, and my friend goes come on lets swop, so he gave me his keys and i gave him mine. He drives a 2001 Vette. I drove the vette home, yeaa it was fasttt, and he took my car... we got bak and he gets out of the car and go man this thing is slow. Is it really that slow or is he use to driving the vette? now like my confidance has dropped.

- With a good tire, what could my car run best at the track next week?

Your car might run 13.5 best at 1/4 mile if you can drive. But yeah , our cars are real slow compare to vettes .

01 vettes with the ls1 also got a boost from the ls6 intake. They are high 12 second cars in bone stock form.

His high 12 car vs your ~13.8 car was likely pretty ugly

lol i love it when eveybody say cars are slow. a stang can out run i would say 80% of the cars on the road it just happens vettes and other lsx series cars make up 10% of that 20% that can.

would u rather have a camry, civic, or a taurus those are slow. i would say a mustang is respectable not fast but not slow. and its a hell of a bargain compared to cars in the same class. i imagine a gt goes for 10k average now your year model a 01 vette will go for i guess 17-23k (estimates)

oh yeah and be glad u got the stang everybody i know with a older lsx has 3rd gear dying on them currently.
