My wife's Fusion does NOT have navigation. My phone and her's is a HTC Desire.
Mine works fine on my 2010 Mustang. Her's initially worked on her Fusion than lost all of the phone book and started dropping calls. We have Bluegrass Cellular, a regional provider in Kentucky. They worked with her for hours. It would work for a few minutes than quit.
I never tried my phone with her car or her phone with my car. I don't want to mess my car up. As I said before, my iPod also worked find with my car but has problems with hers. Thus, my conclusion that the old version of Sync works fine and the new version has problems.
I can also tell you that I would think twice before buying a new Mustang or any other Ford because of these problems and I bleed Ford blue.
My wife has another, older phone, an LG, same carrier, which works. So, she has given up using her Desire (her work phone) with Sync. Her previous car, a Focus, had Sync and worked fine with all her devices. (Also older Sync system).
Ford needs to solve this.
