Synthetic ATF OK for Power steering fluid?

I have synthetic ATF and am wondering if that would be better than purchasing conventional PS fluid for the power steering on my 68. Thoughts?

ATF is what my 67 calls for on the dip stick.

Synthetic may be over kill if you system is like mine it will end up on the ground sooner than later

Good point. I'll tighten up the hose clamps (damp at those spots) before the changeover.

you can use a synthetic atf fluid is you choose, but regular power steering fluid works just fine.
