Does anyone else have a problem with there 2nd gear between 1500-2000 rpm? I got the TSB fix for the 3650 tranny, but now if I am in 2nd gear around 1500rpm and give it some gas, I hear a clashing vibration sound from the tranny. As soon as I hit around 2000rpm it goes away.

Does anyone have any ideas or have this problem?
Thanks,

TTT any help would be appreciated. I am taking the car into the dealer this morning... hopefuly they can fix it and not give me the "it's normal" response.

Thanks

Did they replace your tranny or rebuild it? Or did they just install the kit? My car has had that little noise in second since i got it. Sounds as if there might be a washer loose or something?

I'd go back, get a service manager and take him for a ride. Have them fix it right

My 2002 GT is going in on Wed. Aug. 25 for the fix. Think I will be the first one they have done, so I am hoping all goes well.

Well I took it in and got the it's normal speech. Saying it is gear roll over and it happens in all gears at that RPM. They said they have had other customers complain about this with the 3650 but there is no fix for it from Ford.
My car had the TSB fix... but they found a hairline crack in the housing so they had to replace the housing and re-install all the tranny componets.

Thanks,
