alrite im rebuilding my t-5 and im thinking of changing the first gear to a 2.95 do to the fact i have 3.73's out back now i have no first gear hardly.does anyone know if there is any other modifications i would have to make to the tranny or any other gears and also my speedo is all kinds of messed up after the gear change what size speedo gear do i need to put on the inside please help........

Well you don't change just 1st...you change the entire gearset which includes the cluster gear, 1st and 2nd speed gears.
While the trans is apart, change the speedo drive gear from the black 8-tooth gear to a yellow 7-tooth gear. Then you can run the red 21-tooth driven gear for an accurate speedo with 3.73's.

You'll have to search around. Ebay has some kits, but it's know as the Z-spec gearset. It's around $400.
