has anyone done a t-5 swapp in a 65 or 66 stang. i have a 4 speed in it now and i was wondering what parts i need and rough estimate how much its going to be. my buddy just wrecked his 5.0 and is going to part it out and what parts i would need off of it for the swap...

Try the search function first there is a lot of information there. This has been covered about once a week since I have been here. If you still have specific questions ask away and help will come.

Quick answer YES
Depends on what parts you have
Depends on what parts you have

the easiest two methods with out changing bellhousing or clutch set up you will need:

1. T-5, custom crossmember, spacer plate (which I think then requires you to shorten your driveshaft)

2. T-5, shortened input shaft, custom crossmember

Overall, very easy swap, if your clutch is fresh and you stick with stock linkage the swap can be done in a couple of hours.
