I was hoping that someone could tell me how much hp/tq can a stock or rebuilt t-5 hold ? just got a 93 5.0 and having the tran rebuilt but I do not know what I should upgrade or just leave stock ,, the car runs 12.2 on slicks ..

you might run into problems with slicks. Did you have the internals upgraded when your having them rebuilt? you could upgrade to the "world class" internals or something like that. I am sure that Gforce would have sold you their internals---- and they are supposed to be better than tremec!

My T-5 seemed to be a freak, I powershifed it, drove the crap out of it and it took it like a champ. I put in a Spec III clutch and it lasted about a couple months before going down hill. I finally stripped the teeth off the input and coutershaft gear.
