Just a quick question. Are the nuts that bolt to the AOD tranny mount and the T5 tranny mount the same size?

In other words, i take AOD out, can i reuse the nuts that hold the AOD mount to the tranny to bolt the t-5 mount to the bellhousing??

Can you rephrase that? You kinda lost me at the end, and the beginning a bit. Are you taking about the transmission mounts? Or are you talking about attaching the bellhousing to the block? I believe the tranny mount nuts are the same for both T5 and AOD, as are the tranny mounts themselves.

For bellhousing BOLTS (not sure about the nuts you are referring to) they are the same thread pitch, but the top 2 are longer on the AOD than the T5. I would suggest you get shorter ones. I have read of people using washers to take up the extra length, but that doesn't seem too good to me. Check out

Yes, the 2 bolts that hold the mount to the tranny are the same, and the 2 nuts that hold the mount to the crossmember are the same. I just did this swap last week.

Haha, yeah sure

Basically i have a T-5 that already has a mount attached, so i have the mount to tranny bolts. I do not have the two nuts that attach the tranny mount to the crossmember.

I just wanted to know if the two AOD mount nuts would work

But i got my answer but thanks anyway
