What kind of tools and special tools am I going to need to rebuild my t-5 tranny? I heard you can rent tools at autozone would they have them there? Right now, all I have is basic tools so I need to know what I am going to need.
I already have the handbook and im most likely going to order the video to help me out so i dont screw up. Has anyone ordered this move before? How much of a help was it?
Another question I have is how do you get the bearing out back by the driveshaft? I replaced the seal and it was still leaking. Then i discovered that the bearing is bad.
Those of you who have rebuilt your transmission, would you do it again or pay someone to do it?
