the centerforce T/O bearing will fit... but i find that proper clutch adjustment will cure most throw out bearing noise... some others on here may disagree but this has worked for me no problems...

most stangs are way way too loose with the clutch cable... the T/O bearing is in constant light contact with the presure plate... thats the noise you hear it's the bearing spining with no preload at all and so after a little while it makes noise..

what i do is i adjust my clutch so the T/O has a very slight slight preload on it against the presure plate but not enought so it disengages the clutch fully... i have done this on mine and other mustangs and no T/O bearing noise at all.. i have a centerforce clutch so the presure plate is stiff if you do this with the stock plate be carefull you may disengage the clutch some..

some may tell you the T/O bearing is not supposed to have slight load aganist the cltuch but this is why they are wrong.. if it is not against the presure plate at all then you get a nasty pedal vibration.. and you will have almost no pedal free play.. so you will grind all your gears...

99 percent of mustang clutch/trans grinding problems is related too improper clutch adjustment... with the stock quadrant i had a noisy T/O bearing and my gears grinded when cold and a powershift without a slight grind was impossible... now my tranny slides in gears easy and no more problems...

plus the pedal is a little higher now and i can bang off great powershifts...

if you want too do my fix here.. you need a aftermarket clutch/presure plate thats stiffer than stock.. and a firewall adjuster/quadrant....
