... well, kind of. FarmersSN95 and I went and did this today. Farmer is going to use this for a future project when he finds a notch.

Haha, nice! I take it the rest of the car was junk?

BTW, bonus points if he is able to chop the top a couple inches when he drops it on the recipient car. That would be sweeeeet.

Yeah, the rest of the car was pretty much a total loss. The floorpans were waved really bad, probably from being moved around on forks at the yard. The car was a 83-84 3.8 auto.

Nice...I have to say though, when I read the thread title about a T-Top saved, I wouldn't have guessed that you meant *literally* the t-top

We felt bad about cutting up a Fox like that, especially because we're four-eye fans, but the rest of the car was a total mess. But he's awesome at body work so this will make a great t-top notch in the future. We know of a 79-82 notch that's possibly for sale locally that would be perfect.

Actually, the bag is from Clinique (just kidding) it belongs to my friend's wife. I was curious if anyone would notice that.

I will donate my 93 to the cause, only I get to keep it, and Drive it. Oh, and you have to pay for everything... I will drive it to you though... As long as you can pay for the gas....

Now that I think of it, wouldn't it be easier to just cut the t-top section of the roof out and fab that in, rather then chopping the whole roof and swapping it out?

Yea, it would have to be done right, but I've always been interested to see what it would look like on a Fox. Seems like you could pull it off much better with a notch than you could a hatch.

I agree, a hatch would be alot more work to look right, and i think on a notch it would have to be very subtle
