Has anyone ever heard of T-tops on a mustang? I know, I feel like I've sinned. However, a sun roof just doesn't do it for me, so I was wondering if aftermarket t-tops were even possible.

Anythings possible and you could find someone to cut it.....however the structural integrity would suffer and the car would have so much flex to it. It wouldnt be no time before every panel on the car would be mis aligned probably. Moral of the story....dont do it. :nice:

In my opnion I wouldn't do that to a mustang because people
will think your jumping on the GM banwagon. :notnice:
If you want t tops you should have got a vette, camero,or a firebird.

Yea, my dad had an 85 GT 5spd 302, awesome car, had t-tops, which made it even better... i like tees, and just because camaro's and trans-am's had them i dont think they are exclusivlely for them... i believe 300ZX's had them too, and im sure some other cars, even vettes had them at one time. I do agree that a sun roof is boring, im not sure how tees would look on a late model though, i think the targa top would be cool if it worked propoerly. And as for the car being more rigid without t-tops ect, i dont think it makes that big a difference, especially if you have subframes... all f-bodies that are "t-less" are patterened for them under the roofskin... easy to tell when you sit in one and the celiing is concave where the t's would be.
