T45 from 1997 Cobra in 2000 GT

Will that work? My 2000 T45 is damaged and I can get the older Cobra T45.

I already read that I have to exchange the tailshaft housings due to different X-braces. But what's with the speedo pickup? The 99+ Mustangs need an electronic pickup.
