hi folks. i have an 87 5.0 automatic. I took out the 87 5.0 and automatic and put in an 86 5.0 H.O and t5. The t5 i got has the wiring pig tail coming out of the top drivers side of the tranny(about a foot long), the connector got smashed though so it's hard to tell whats what. There are two wires coming out of the transmission to this connector and two slots on the connector that are jumpered together. I found the (AOD) harness that goes from the drivers side kick panel(hooks up to the main harness) and goes under the seat and has a round connector coming out of the trans tunnel behind the shifter. Can anyone tell me how to rig this up. Do i need to find a harness from a manual trannied car to go from that kick panel to the tranny instead? Thanks for any help.
