T5 hard to shift into first and second after rebuild

So i rebuilt my t5 over the winter. I bought a rebuild kit and all new sliders. Now im having trouble shifting into first and second gear. It doesent grind or pop out. Its just a litttle hard to put in. Any help would be much appreciated.
