T5 out of 95 v6 is it the same except input

I have aquired a t5 out of a 95 v6 and I would like to know if this is interchangable with my t5 1991 I am shure the input shaft is longer but I was wondering if I could take my input shaft out of 91 and install into 95 t5 to fit in my91 thanx

that tranny is weaker, i think the shafts will interchange but im not really sure either

The tranny is no weaker than any other T5, in fact its stronger than 85-89 t5s. The input shafts and front bearing retainers should interchange.

The input shaft also has the gear that drives the cluster gear. The input shafts would have to have the same number of teeth on the gears. Use the tag number on the back of the transmissons to compare model numbers.
