My T5 popped out of first gear twice yesterday. It's not a good feeling. It happened one time when i put it in first and took it out then put it back in at a traffic light without engaging the clutch. Then the other time it just did it randomly. Should I be worried that my trans is gonna go within a month cuz I did just buy a Tremec 3550.

the only thing that would really cause that are if u have an aftermarket shifter, and the stops are adjusted wrong. If the stops are adjusted to snugly, it won't go into gear all the way.

if that's not it, then you're def looking at tranny issues. Good thing you've got a tremec on the backburner.

ive done that going into second. its just me i think because its only done it when going slow. because when you are going slow you dont put as much effort into shifting than when you are going fast. something like that.

I do have a B&M ripper shifter and it did it again today. # is kinda hard to get into. I was thinking of adjusting the clutch but it lets off pretty high off the florr. I dont know. The stangs hibernating in a month anyways so screw it. The tremec will solve it.

If the shifter is engaging the gears fully, then it would be worn down dog teeth thowing it out of engagement when you load the gear.

ya, if the clutch is engaging high already, it's not an adjustment. check the stops on your shifter, but we all know that t5 has seen better days.
